Hollow Wall Anchors

A multi component light duty hollow wall anchor fitted with a pan head screw and washer designed for use in plasterboard and wallboard. The anchor is set by tightening the screw which in turn collapses the body of the anchor spreading across the back of the plaster to provide a grip and prevent pull through.

Applications

Designed for use in hollow walls or cavities lined with plasterboard or wall board. Can be used to secure light duty loads such as brackets, floating shelves, hooks, pictures, artwork, light fittings, conduit and pipe saddles. The anchor is only as strong as the plasterboard or wall board it is fixed into. Care needs to be exercised to ensure the wall material is sound and that the anchor is not overloaded. Use the correct size anchor for the thickness of the material it is being secured into. Using multiple fixings will increase the weight capacity of the shelf or shelf brackets.
